MAKE A DONATION

As foster parents, we bring homeless pets (mainly cats and dogs) into our home for a limited amount of time and play a significant role in helping that pet to be ready for adoption. By the time the rescued homeless dog/cat finds a forever home, we ensure that the animal is neutered/castrated and has gone through the needed anti-parasite/bug treatments and vaccinations. So far, we have been able to rehome 10+ pet babies and treat and castrate 100+ homeless cats and dogs. Still, due to limited home space, we only rehouse small cats and dogs. We take bigger ones to vets and ensure they are going back to the street castrated and have gone through parasite and anti-bug treatments needed to survive, such as vaccines.

GLOBAL REVOLUTION

Please take note of the following information:

We are not a traditional animal shelter with a public location for visiting pets before adoption. Instead, we are a dedicated group of individuals who provide foster homes for animals in need using our own homes. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals, please fill out our request form, including details about yourself, and your financial situation. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in the state of Texas, we successfully obtained tax-exempt status, and donors who contribute through our website will receive a receipt for tax deduction purposes.

It is crucial to recognize that PETS ARE NOT TOYS; They are not a one-time purchase, but an ongoing monthly expense that can lead pet owners to give up their pets. Unfortunately, many people romanticize the idea of having a pet, but it actually requires hard work and daily commitment. This includes feeding the pets 2-3 times a day, cleaning up after them 2-3 times a day, changing the litter box, and dealing with damages around the home. All of this requires financial resources. To prevent the future homelessness of our rescued pets, we only consider applications from individuals with stable homes and economic situations. For security purposes, all adoptions and surrender of pets are organized openly (no secrets) in our group chat on WhatsApp, and animals are delivered to a public location. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

USEFUL INFO TO KNOW

PARVOVIRUS

It's important to remember the following information: Even though the Parvo virus is considered deadly, and vets may not provide much attention to your pups after diagnosis unless you opt for costly in-hospital treatment, there is still hope. Our dog, Homie, is a perfect example of this. He got sick, vomited blood for three days, and had three days of bloody diarrhea. We didn't take our puppy to the vet right away because we initially thought the first two days were due to parasites. We gave him parasite treatment, but later took him to the emergency vet. The vet informed us that he was supposed to die within the next 2-3 days due to PARVO. The vet prescribed three meds (clavulin, carnotprim, and a third one which we couldn't find, so we didn't give it to the puppy). Additionally, we bought a suspension for anti-parasite home treatment, and it worked. It was not just the medicine but also the 24-hour care and a lot of love that made the biggest difference. first of all, from my research on parvo - it's an immune virus that hits puppies' stomachs and the stomach eats itself making the puppy throw up and have bloody diarrhea, the puppy refuses to drink or eat and slowly dies from starvation and dehydration - IT IS PREVENTABLE! the first night - I did as doctor told us, gave a normal dose of anti-parasite treatment, normal dose of clavulin and carnotprim, and we went to sleep since it was already midnight, but I had to get up within next hour cuz puppy was throwing up - that's where I decided to take everything in my own hands and ask google, Reddit, and quora to see what others do - BUY TON OF ELECTROLYTES FOR BABIES!!! this is a must!!! I took the syringe that came with medicine filled it with water and just forced it into my puppy - I tried to do it slowly letting the puppy's body absorb everything 1 syringe at a time. and what is most important - SPIRITUALLY AND MENTALLY - you have to be strong - puppies reflect our energy - if we think they dying, they also think they dying, if the puppy sees you won't give up on them, the puppy won't give up too. I kept repeating to the puppy "I won't let you die, you going to be healthy, I know it!" while kept squeezing syringes of water, electrolytes, and chicken broth, blended with water to liquid consistency puppy wet food, and boiled chicken - ALL DAY FOR 2 DAYS! the first day was the hardest cuz puppy looks miserable (we also had a ton of worms, so watching him throwing them up and pushing them out with diarrhea is not for the weak) and it feels like no matter what you doing, nothing works... DO NOT GIVE UP. you will see results by the end of the second day! our puppy was able to get up and drink water on his own, yet still immediately threw up after but if you see any life - keep doing what you doing! On 3rd day our puppy almost didn't throw up (we still were force-feeding his food through a syringe, AND ELECTROLYTES almost every hour for 2-3 days - the main reason for dying is dehydration so electrolytes have salt that helps retain water, I also was mixing in regular water a crystal of Himalayan salt (if possible get Celtic salt but its expensive yet best salt for you and your kids). as far as medicine - the doctor prescribed 2 times a day (every 12 hours) - this is bullsh*t and won't work since your puppy most likely going to throw up everything right away - I split the dose (it usually 2-3 ml twice a day, so it's about 4-6ml a day) of medicine on microdoses and gave about 1ml about every 2-3 hours depending if the puppy throws up within next 30 min of taking it. the meds that the doctor prescribed ARE NOT FOR PARVO, it's just to soothe the symptoms - 1 diarrhea (we didn't buy it) 2 throw up 3 temperature/antibiotics - so use your own judgment: I gave antibiotics as told twice a day unless the pup throws up, then I gave them again a bit less. but the throw-up medicine I gave EVERY TIME BEFORE I gave food through a syringe (so it was a syringe of throw-up medicine, wait 5 min, then half syringe of liquified food, wait 3-5 min, then +1 syringe of food, then wait 5 more mind, then give electrolytes and KEEP BOWL OF CLEAN (spring) WATER in front of the puppy ALL THE TIME - as soon as puppy reach for the water themselves - you know you won the battle with parvo! but please do not stop taking care of your puppy until you see the puppy fully recovered since parvo lives for up to 14 days, we only needed to take care of him 24 hours a day for the first 3 days, and the next 3 days puppy started drinking water, stopped throwing up, started to poop thou still a bit of diarrhea at first until we offered dry food on day 5ish.. if you need additional advice or have questions - don't hesitate to reach out, AND PLEASE TAKE UR PUPPY TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SEE HIM THROW UP, the sooner you catch the parvo and start monitoring your puppy, the easier it will be for both you and the dog. GOOD LUCK and hope it saves the life of your puppy.
